A cafe racer jacket in 1.3 mm cowhide, slimmer through the body than a standard bike jacket, based on the cafe racer styling of the 1960s. Medium weight, so it works from spring through autumn rather than only in winter.
At 1.3 mm the leather has enough body to hold the jacket's shape without the weight of a heavy winter shell. It is the thickness that lets a slim cut stay slim instead of sagging at the shoulders after a season.

The wire collar
A fine wire runs through the collar, so you can set it flat, popped, or turned however you want it and it stays there. Standard leather collars flop back into one position; this one holds what you shape it into.
It is a small detail and it is the one people notice first, because a collar that holds its line is what separates a cafe racer jacket from a generic biker jacket.
Articulated sleeves
The sleeves are pre-shaped with corrugation at the elbow, so they bend where your arm bends. On a bike that means reaching for the bars without the jacket pulling at the shoulders. Off the bike it means the sleeves do not bunch when you cross your arms.
Cotton lining, not polyester
The body is lined in 100% cotton and the sleeves in acetate. Cotton breathes where synthetic linings trap heat, which matters on a slim jacket worn close to the body. Acetate in the sleeves lets the jacket slide on over a shirt or jumper without dragging.

Care
Store on a wide hanger away from direct heat. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after riding in dust or rain. Apply leather conditioner two or three times a year, paying attention to the elbows where the leather flexes most.
