Leather Shifter Boot Protectors
Motorcycle Shifter Boot Protectors — Handmade Full Grain Leather, Free Engraving
The gear lever cuts a groove into the toe of your left shoe. On riding boots it shows within a season. On dress shoes or loafers it shows in a week. A shifter protector takes that abrasion instead.
Ours are 1.1–1.2 mm full grain cowhide, handmade. Most protectors sold elsewhere are neoprene, rubber or faux leather — they work, but they split after a season or two. Leather takes the same abuse for years and darkens into a patina instead of cracking.

Fits any footwear, no sizing needed
A wide elastic band stretches over riding boots, work boots, sneakers, loafers and dress shoes. The smooth inner surface won't scratch polished or suede uppers — which is why riders who commute in good shoes use it on Oxfords and leather loafers, slipping it on before the ride and off at the office door.
Which one to choose
- Classic — the standard protector in full grain leather
- With keychain — same protector, matching leather keychain included
- Carbon — carbon-look finish for sport bikes
A gift riders never buy themselves
Riders notice the wear, mean to fix it, and keep riding. That makes this a strong gift for a husband, boyfriend, dad or friend who rides — for birthdays, Father's Day, Christmas, a new bike, or the first ride of the season. Free engraving with initials, a name or a logo.
Common questions
Left foot or right? Left. The gear lever sits on the left side of the bike, so that is the shoe that takes the wear.
Will it fit my shoes? Yes — the elastic band fits most boots, sneakers and dress shoes without selecting a size.
Will it scratch expensive shoes? No. The inner surface is smooth leather, chosen so it won't mark polished or suede uppers.
Why leather over rubber? Rubber and neoprene pads split after a season or two. Full grain leather outlasts the shoes it protects and can be engraved.
