Why rectangular

A rectangular buckle is the classic dress proportion. It sits lower against the body than a square or rounded buckle, which matters under a fitted shirt and a jacket — nothing catches, nothing bulges at the waistband.

Measure a belt he already wears, from the buckle fold to the hole he uses most. That measurement in inches is his belt size — not his trouser waist, which runs smaller.

Engraving is included at no cost: initials, a name, a date or a logo — on the inside of the strap where only the wearer sees it, or on the outside if you prefer.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Apply leather conditioner two or three times a year to keep the black deep. Polish the buckle occasionally with a dry cloth.
