Black & White Cafe Racer Leather Jacket with Patches, Size 50 (M)
Black & White Cafe Racer Leather Jacket with Patches
A two-tone cafe racer jacket in premium full-grain cowhide: black body, white sleeves, embroidered patches. Perforated leather inserts run down the sleeves — a detail from period racing leathers, kept because it works.
Riders in France and Italy have bought this jacket. Both said the same thing in different words: thick leather, correct cut, and it moulds to the body after a few rides.
The patches
- "Dead Fire" — the Fashion Racing embroidered patch on the chest
- "Café Racer" — round motorcycle patch, the traditional roundel
- "Dugout Wrenches" — crossed wrenches on the white leather sleeve
- Additional patches on the back panel
Each is embroidered and stitched by hand, not heat-pressed. They stay put through wear and weather.

Why perforated inserts
The black perforated panels on the white sleeves are not decoration. Perforation is how racing leathers vented before mesh existed — air moves through the panel at speed, where the arm is most exposed. On this jacket the perforation is placed where it helps and left out where abrasion resistance matters more.
Why black and white
Black leather jackets are the default, which is the problem: at any bike meet there are twenty. White sleeves are the classic period racing contrast, and they are the reason this jacket gets looked at from across a car park.
White leather also shows its history. It picks up marks at the elbows and cuffs, so the jacket ends up recording the rides rather than staying showroom-clean.
Who buys this jacket
- Cafe racer and classic bike riders — the styling matches the machines
- Riders who want a jacket with a story — the patches are specific, not generic branding
- Anyone tired of plain black — two-tone with patches is a long way from the default
- Riders who wear the jacket off the bike too — the cut works with jeans and boots without reading as riding gear
Protection
This is a leather outer shell: full-grain cowhide for abrasion resistance, reinforced stitching at the stress points. It does not include CE-certified armor. Riders who want impact protection wear a separate armored base layer underneath, which fits under the cafe racer cut without bulk.
Other sizes and custom orders
This jacket is currently available in EU 50. If you need a different size, or want a different patch combination — including your own club insignia — message us. We make to measure and apply custom patches.
Care
Store on a wide hanger away from direct heat. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after riding in dust or rain. Apply leather conditioner two or three times a year. On the white panels, use a conditioner suitable for light leather to avoid darkening.
Common questions
What are the patches on this jacket? Three embroidered patches: the Fashion Racing "Dead Fire" patch on the chest, a round "Café Racer" motorcycle roundel, and a "Dugout Wrenches" patch on the sleeve, plus additional patches on the back. All are embroidered and stitched, not heat-pressed.
Can I have different patches or my own club logo? Yes. We apply custom patches on made-to-order jackets. Send us your design and we will quote.
What are the perforated panels for? Perforation vents air through the sleeve at speed. It is the traditional method used on period racing leathers, placed where it helps without compromising abrasion resistance elsewhere.
Does this jacket include CE-certified armor? No. It is a leather outer shell built for abrasion resistance. An armored base layer fits underneath the cafe racer cut without bulk.
Is this jacket suitable for motorcycle riding? Yes. Full-grain cowhide, YKK hardware and reinforced stitching make it suitable for regular riding.
Can I wear it as a casual jacket? Yes. The two-tone styling and patches work with jeans and boots off the bike.
What body type does size 50 (M) fit? Riders around 72–80 kg who wear a medium. Compare the measurements above with a jacket you already own.
How do I keep the white leather clean? Wipe after each ride with a soft dry cloth and use a conditioner made for light leather. Marks at the elbows and cuffs are normal and part of how the jacket ages.
Can I order a different size? This jacket is currently available in EU 50. For other sizes we make to measure — message us with your measurements.
