Design & Details
Brown full-grain leather with a smooth finish. The buckle is solid brass with a warm golden tone that reads softer against brown leather than silver or nickel hardware does. Single prong, classic frame.
Materials & Construction
Full-grain leather is the outer layer of the hide with the grain left intact, rather than sanded down and coated the way corrected or bonded leather is. It takes on colour where the strap bends and where a hand rests on it. Because brass ages in the same direction, the buckle and the leather darken together instead of at different rates.
