Embossed, not printed
The crocodile pattern is pressed into genuine full-grain hide, not printed onto a surface coating. That matters at the fold points, where printed finishes rub away within a year and leave the belt looking cheap. Embossing is part of the leather, so it stays.
Why brushed silver
Brushed metal catches less light than polished chrome, so the buckle reads as quiet rather than flashy. Against black croc texture that balance works — the leather does the talking, the hardware stays out of the way.
Why full grain
Full grain is the outer layer of the hide with the grain intact. Corrected and bonded leather is sanded and coated, which is why it cracks at the fold within two years. Full grain darkens and softens instead, keeping its shape.

Engraving is included at no cost: initials, a name, a date or a logo — on the inside of the strap where only the wearer sees it, or on the outside if you prefer.
Care
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Apply leather conditioner two or three times a year, working it gently into the embossed texture. Avoid soaking in water.

Is croc embossed leather real leather? Yes. This is genuine full-grain hide with a crocodile texture pressed into it. It is not crocodile skin, and it is not a printed coating — the embossing is part of the leather itself.
Will the texture wear off? No. Because the pattern is pressed into the hide rather than applied to the surface, it stays intact at the fold points where printed finishes usually rub away.
Can I wear a croc belt with a suit? Yes. It stays black and the brushed buckle is understated, so it reads as formal. The texture adds interest without adding colour.
